A Safe Space to Connect, Learn, and Grow

At Afghan Association Paiwand, we believe every young person deserves a space to belong — a place to make friends, express themselves, and feel part of a community.
Our Youth Clubs and Activities in Edgware and across North West London provide that space.
Whether you love sports, arts, music, or just want to meet new people, Paiwand’s youth projects help refugees, asylum seekers, and unaccompanied minors build confidence, wellbeing, and life skills.

Our football club welcomes players of all skill levels for regular practice sessions and friendly matches.
Through football, young people learn:
Teamwork and communication
Leadership and sportsmanship
Discipline and healthy competition

Our Taekwondo classes promote discipline, respect, focus, and self-confidence.
Led by trained instructors, the sessions include:
Warm-ups and stretching
Technique and form practice
Controlled sparring and teamwork exercises
The club builds both physical fitness and mental wellbeing, helping young people learn self-defense in a safe, inclusive setting.
