Supported Accommodation for Young Refugees and Asylum Seekers

At Afghan Association Paiwand, we provide supported accommodation for young refugees and asylum seekers aged 18–21 (in exceptional circumstances, upto the age of 25) who are alone in the UK.
Based in North West London, our team of staff and volunteers offers not only a safe place to live, but also the emotional, cultural, and practical support young people need to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Since 2002, Paiwand has been a trusted provider of youth support and housing for unaccompanied minors, complementing the work of local councils and statutory agencies to ensure no young person is left behind.

Our semi-independent accommodation programme gives young people more than a room — it provides a pathway to stability, education, and independence.

Our semi-independent accommodation programme gives young people more than a room — it provides a pathway to stability, education, and independence.
Our supported houses are located across the London Borough of Harrow, each offering:
Private furnished bedrooms with single or double beds, desk, wardrobe, and small fridge
These plans focus on: building life skills and resilience, understanding rights, responsibilities, and personal safety, developing communication and social connections.
We work closely with local Youth Stop branches, schools, and training providers to connect residents with opportunities in education and employment.
Paiwand’s advisors are trained, experienced, and fully regulated. This ensures that every person we support receives accurate, confidential, and high-quality guidance.

Every act of kindness helps someone find stability, safety, and hope. Whether you want to volunteer your time, share your skills, or make a donation, your support helps Paiwand continue providing essential services to refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants across London.
