With experience as an educator, Masumah has worked across all year groups from primary to secondary education and has also served as a school governor for many years. She joined Paiwand as a language teacher in 2010, and from 2021 to 2023, she managed and worked on the Advocacy Projects within the Afghan Resettlement Programme across two bridging hotels in the City of London. During this period, she also worked Paiwand’s community advocate with Hackney Council’s Public Health Team on a joint Health and Wellbeing Programme for asylum seekers.

Currently, Masumah manages Paiwand’s Education Services, which have been highly successful and greatly valued by students.
